Youth Programs

Our Youth Programs offer young people the chance to develop leadership skills, form lifelong friendships, and make a positive impact in their communities. Guided by the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth, these programs inspire growth, teamwork, and civic responsibility in a supportive, and inclusive environment.

Through service projects, social activities, and mentorship, youth members gain valuable life skills while learning the traditions of Odd Fellowship, preparing them to become compassionate and dedicated leaders.

About the Odd Fellows Youth Programs

Odd Fellows Youth Programs offer young people the opportunity to develop leadership skills, build friendships, and make a positive impact on their communities while upholding the values of Friendship, Love, and Truth. These programs provide a supportive and inclusive environment where members can grow, serve, and thrive through meaningful activities and experiences.

The IOOF’s youth programs are divided into several branches, each tailored to different age groups and interests:

  • Junior Lodges: Open to boys aged 8 to 21, Junior Lodges emphasize the core values of Honor and Fidelity. Activities focus on personal growth, leadership development, and community service. The symbolic colors Silver and Dark Blue represent dignity and trustworthiness, key qualities encouraged in all members.
  • Theta Rho Girls’ Clubs: Designed for girls aged 8 to 21, these clubs are centered around the motto “Happiness through Service” and promote self-confidence, teamwork, and dedication to charitable efforts. The symbolic colors, Peach and Yale Blue, reflect joy and commitment.
  • United Youth Groups: This co-ed branch, open to boys and girls aged 8 to 18, is part of the Sovereign Grand Lodge’s International Youth Programs. Members lead their lodge activities, including social events, service projects, and community initiatives, with the guidance of adult advisors. These groups encourage youth to take on leadership roles, fostering responsibility and confidence.
  • Cadet Corps: As the junior branch of the Patriarchs Militant, the Cadet Corps instills discipline and a sense of duty. Guided by the motto “Service is Honor”, members learn the value of commitment and service while preparing for future roles in Odd Fellowship.

Whether planning community service projects, organizing fun events, or stepping into leadership roles, Odd Fellows Youth Programs inspire young people to contribute meaningfully to their communities while building essential life skills.
